Time for Boots & Mittens

This morning was the first time the snow has stuck to the ground this season. It was also the first time Halene allowed us to put her winter boots and mittens on her - the last few times we tried had been crying tantrum messes. But she was so excited to go outside; it helped that Mom and Dad were both wearing their boots too.

So we played in the yard, then walked in the woods by the river. Halene's favorite part being when Mom would shake the snow off of the oak leaves and onto her & Dad.
