Alesa and I recently enjoyed our first ever weekend together without the kids. Grandpa Craig and grandma Kristi came up and stayed with the kids while we traveld up the Mississippi River to art galleries and trout streams.
This is what we look like without a 3 year old hanging on our legs and not chasing a 1 year old all over the place. How bored we look.

We joined up with their group and ended up floating the Mississippi down to St. Louis. Alesa grew a beard and I started taking human growth hormone. We made a ton of money as the bearded lady and the strong man. We stopped in various river towns and put on quite a show.
Actually, we visited some art galleries, took in a film, ate some really good food, and fished a nearby trout stream. We caught a bunch of very small brook trout
