These are the only photos taken of Halene on her 4th Birthday. She was very proud of her new purple fingernail polish and sparkly flip-flops. so girly. We did not have a big party; instead we went to the "broken-arm-doctor" one last time and then went out for pizza. Then Nate went away for 3 days of fly-fishing and his own birthday celebration - leaving us home to play in the still-deep snow and mud. Thank you to Johnny, Dan, & Tim for helping Nate have a fantastic birthday - one of his best ever. (Last year he fell asleep in a chair before the kids even went to bed - beer in hand - photo posted below - ha!)
