More adventures with Halene

Halane and I hit up a  remote (for this area) trout stream the other night. The hike in ended up being longer than I expected and much more steep. I figure we drove 30 min to the trailhead, hiked another 40 minutes to get to the water, fished for half an hour and then headed out before it got dark. It was a lot of effort-but Halene had a lot of fun. I had some too. We saw a momma deer, a herd of Hulsteins, some trout, eagles, hawks, frogs, snakes, grasshoppers, and some leaves changing color.

Ok family, take a good look at this photo and tell me who Halene looks like. No, not me, another De Jager girl when she was younger.
The stream we hiked to.
The fish we caught.
Halene said, "Put him back, let him swim to his mommy and daddy" so I did.
